Simpson Chevrolet of Irvine

Simpson Chevrolet of Irvine is the result of more than seven decades of car dealership success in Southern California. In 1951, the dealership first opened in South Gate as Simpson Buick, then continued its business expansion with new locations in Buena Park in 1998, Garden Grove in 2011 and Irvine in 2016.

The following water-efficient upgrades have earned WaterStar certification for Irvine’s Simpson Chevrolet: Two years ago, the dealership installed new low flush fixtures. Their on-site car wash system was converted to use 80% filtered recirculated water. The facility also recently replaced its grass landscaping with drought-tolerant plants that require 50% less water than the old turf. All told, Simpson Chevrolet’s water-saving actions have allowed the dealership to save more than one million gallons per year— a stellar performance in water efficiency!
